About the Position
We are looking for a driven, highly organized, and proactive individual to become the new Executive Assistant to Metabolic’s founder and CEO, Eva Gladek. Within this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the CEO is being used as a resource for Metabolic in the most effective way possible. You will be the CEO’s key partner in crime, and will ensure efficient functioning of the Office of the CEO, by delivering administrative, operational, research, tactical tasks and managerial tasks, and providing ad-hoc support on a project basis, while continuously sharpening the CEO’s priorities for a given day, week, month, and beyond.
To do so, you will be responsible for staying up to speed with the most important strategic directions, projects, and initiatives of all of the interdisciplinary teams and organisations within the Metabolic Ecosystem. You will build a close relationship with different team leads, you will regularly attend key management and other recurring meetings which require the CEO’s involvement, and you will be the point of contact among employees, clients, and other external partners, to support the CEO in appropriately filtering complex information. Most importantly, you will work closely with the CEO herself, keeping track of and facilitating all of her day-to-day tasks, as well as the longer-term, strategic projects and activities. This could be, for instance, facilitating a new partnership or consortium building, streamlining internal operational processes, assisting with proactive business development, undertaking research into different sustainability topics, or travelling abroad to support Eva with key public speaking engagements.
We are looking for a mission-driven individual who is interested in becoming acquainted with business administration, executive level management, strategy development, and entrepreneurship. Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, who is a team player, yet enjoys working independently.
