Willow is a sustainability consultant who focuses on improving relationships among actors as they work towards improving their environment. Her past experiences working with NGOs and the development sector have given her a deep understanding of the complications involved in implementing good ideas on the ground. She’s learned that most of the biggest hurdles can be traced back to human nature, and therefore she aims in all of her work to attend to the human element. Toward that end, in projects she designs interventions that facilitate farmer transitions to more regenerative or sustainable agroforestry practices, keeping the complexity of the context in mind.
Willow has a BA in Political Science from Boston College and an MSc in Environmental Governance from University of Freiburg, and she continues to love exploring and analyzing the world in all of its various forms.
