Omar Ali is a Japanese-born, UK-educated Egyptian American. He’s also a results-driven storyteller with a passion for sustainability and social impact. 

Building on his track record in community-building, entrepreneurship, and project coordination, Omar joined Metabolic Consulting in Spring 2023 as the Commercial & Partnerships Lead for the Industries Division. Before taking on this role, Omar founded two creative collectives and worked extensively with global organizations ranging from foundations to advocacy groups, start-ups, corporations, and government agencies. He graduated in 2017 with a Master’s in International Relations from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. 

Bilingual in both English and Arabic, Omar lived in seven countries before moving to Amsterdam. Falling in love with the city and its lifestyle, he has decided to stay for life.
