Elodie grew up close to Montreal, Canada, where she studied bioresource engineering at McGill University. While earning her bachelor’s degree, she worked on a wide range of environmental-related topics, including alternative energy systems, waste management, the food system, and more.
Prior to joining Metabolic, she worked in wastewater treatment and solid waste management, where she gained hands-on experience and realized the magnitude of the impacts of our consumption on the environment. Exposed to the consequences of human behavior, she was convinced that she could not sit still doing nothing. She decided to move across the Atlantic Ocean to tackle urgent environmental problems as a sustainability consultant at Metabolic.
Elodie tries her best to apply circular economy principles to her everyday life while enjoying being outside, doing sports, traveling, and connecting with people.
