Alice MacNeil

DLT4EU Programme Manager

‘A networked innovation approach is critical to growing the health of our environment – this means opening up and drawing across industries, geographies, sectors, different disciplines to solve fundamental problems and create new solutions.’

Alice believes a networked innovation approach is critical to growing the health of our environment. For Alice, Metabolic is a unique opportunity to help pioneer the exact DNA of successful, impactful businesses – a keystone in the systemic transition to a circular economy.

At the Metabolic Institute, funded by the European Commission, Alice is the DLT4EU Programme Manager. The DLT4EU Programme will curate a vibrant ecosystem of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) for public and social good across Europe. She brings expertise in innovation strategy, emerging technologies, and programme management from a broad range of professional experiences at Accenture, NESTA, the Cambridge Judge Business School, and with her own strategy consultancy.

At weekends, Alice can usually be found shovelling compost at de Stadsgroenteboer – a community supported agriculture farm in West Amsterdam, or attempting to surf out on the Zandvoort coastline.
