We assisted Rabobank in the set-up of a year long trajectory in which progressive clients in the Automotive and Agri&Food sector were accompanied in their search for a more circular business model, together with our partner Circle Economy.

Both the automotive and the agri&food sector play a key role in the transition to a circular, low carbon and efficient economy. The Dutch bank Rabobank serves many clients in these sectors who are looking to make a transition to circular products and services. Often, new business models such as ‘light as a service’ instead of hardware sales come in to play.
The 10 companies participating in the Circular Economy challenge all went through a customized year long program, which kicked-off with an individual circularity check-up. After a quick analysis of the current system, an interactive brainstorm with the management team was organized to define a top of curricular opportunities.
In order to have a common starting point, a systems analysis for both the sectors was executed in which trends of the sector as well as key opportunity for circularity were identified. These sector analyses were used as a basis for a year long program with 10 Rabobank clients.
